The Bedford Inn, a Bedford, Kentucky bed and breakfast with Antique and Gift Shop, is a charming early American style country inn on the town square.  Bedford is the county seat for rural Trimble County, KY which borders the Ohio River, northeast of Louisville, southeast from Cincinnati and across from Madison, Indiana.

The Bedford Inn is housed in a beautifully restored property thought to have been constructed around 1830 and used initially as a tavern. It became the W. F. Peak family residence around 1850 and survived a major fire in 1873.  The structure is a two-story brick of Federal-Greek Revival architecture.

In its present reincarnation, the inn offers overnight lodging, in four wonderfully appointed guestrooms, a full and hearty country breakfast in the period decorated dining room, and bargains in the Antique and Gift Shop.  When not lounging in the privacy of your room or eating breakfast in the dining room, you may simply relax in our parlor or on one of the two porches, one per floor.  Furnished with antiques and decorated with collectibles throughout, the inn is an attraction itself.  Browse our shop for rare and unusual antiques, curios and sought-after collectors’ items.

If you are seeking accommodations in the area, The Bedford Inn is a great hotel and motel alternative.  Luxurious yet inexpensive, the experience at our inn is a value, which competes well with nearby alternatives.  Call for reservations toll free: 800-459-4536 or locally: 502-255-7888.
